Maltese Dog

The Maltese dog is cute and funny. They have a solid body and an entire look that shows passion, tenseness, and love. The height from their shoulder to the ground is well-balanced to the length from the shoulder to the tail. They have splay wither blades and strapping elbows that are close to the body.

Their chest is slightly deep and their waist are solid, taut. Their neck is long enough. Their back is flush and the ribs are well-sprung. Their legs bones are good. Their forefoot are straight. Their back legs are strong. They have small, round feet and a plumed tail that shows the elegance over the their back. Their head is of moderate length and good in proportion to their size.

Their eyes are round and dark and their medium-length mouth is good and well-pointed. They have a black nose. Their teeth meet in an even or scissors bite. Their ears are low-set and heavily furry. Their coat is long, flat, and silky. The coat hangs over the sides of their body, and it comes almost to the ground. The color of their coat is pure white.

The Maltese dog is a quite healthy dog. Some their health problems are luxating patella, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), and portosystemic liver shunt. Their life span is 12 to 15 years, but A Maltese can live for 15 to 18 years sometimes.

The Maltese dog is always happy, cheery, and actif. They are obedient, trustful, and dedicated to their master. the Maltese learns fast, because they are smart. They are brave because they will bark if they hear a fishy noise. They are friendly to other animals and pets. They get along very well with children, they may get jealous at inconsiderate children. Sometimes They are picky eaters. We have to give some small dog biscuits in their diet to maintain their teeth strong and healthy. Sometimes thay may be jealous and unstable.

We must brush and comb their long coat on a daily basis. We must bath and shampoo them regularly, and they should be dry after that. We must clean their eyes and ears daily to prevent staining, and we must remove their excessive hair around the ears.
